Yes, because they've forgotten how to actually do their jobs, which is specifically to report factual things that happened. Now we have "gonzo" journalism full of opinion and theory and very little actual facts.

 

Also props to the guy in the video for saying brain sauce, a phrase not used enough in this day and age

So I'm not seeing anything in the CNN video or article accusing all manga and anime of being child porn. I think people might be being a tad bit oversensitive here. Considering the nature of the subject itself they're being fairly neutral about it and sharing quotes from people on both sides. Understandably they're leaning more towards the "ban this stuff" side but they are careful to point out (twice in the article itself) that there is no proven link between actual child abuse and anime or manga. What they are doing is showing the massive porn industry in Japan and how it is marketed and sold. Let's face it, the Japanese porn industry is a whole different and occasionally disturbing beast than what it is in the US.

I have yet to watch the video (oh trust me, I will), but come on people, this is CNN. They're a horrible news station. Does it have some good things every now and then? Sure, but most of the time they do not.

That is true. Sadly, there is going to be other million of people that will be convince that Anime/Manga is a child pornography. Soon, there might be even a law banning them if we don't do anything about it. :P
