I don't like Anime, but I'm not against it.

However I will say that it does attract some REALLY weird people and makes them even weirder.

If you excuse me, I will play the eroge Shiny Days now, and I think I will focus on Kokoro first ^.^

Well I personally feel that both of us both presented good arguments for our side and since I highly doubt either of us will reach a middle ground we should agree to disagree. It was really nice though to have a fairly civil "debate" without anyone acting like in-grades like what usually happens. (Except for this quote,

"But you HAVE to be sexually attracted to and wanting to fuck kids to find loli hentai enjoyable", to which I also personally find kind of offensive, and I personally feel bad was said in the thread even if it wasn't me who said it.)

(Completely off topic, I've never played Shiny Days but I just hope Makoto isn't as frustrating of a character as he is in School Days.. xD)

"Her tsundere ratio is 8:2. So don't think you could see her dere side so easily."

Anime is popular because it has everything people want, there's anime for every type of person if you know where to look.

Since its Japanese art you really should see that they have different cultures based on the graphics and type of stories that are involved.

What;s porn to America can be something different for someone else.

Well sadly, I can't say I think your side of the debate has presented any good arguments since it's mostly based on speculations. I can see where you're coming from but I simply do not agree with it, and neither does the science behind it.

I think it's best if we just agree to disagree though since neither of us seem will to change out mind.

I haven't finished School Days yet (only on episode 3 but I know about the ending). I am pretty sure he is similar to how he is in School Days though, since there is like 20 H scenes in the game.

Popped in to say if something isn't bothering your personal life and if no one is actually being harmed, you should stop pretending to care it affects your life in some meaningful day. You'll be surprised what goes on in your own city behind closed doors that you're blissfully unaware of. That person who made your food at your fav restaurant may very well be into beastiality and you'll be none the wiser. - Even funnier when the champions of justice like police officers are into the same things they are so adamantly against in public. Now that is more common than you'd like to believe.

Saw you as latest post and decided to take a peek again... It seems that the situation has become more civil... Let's just hope it doesn't devolve once more and learn to respect each other's opinions and cultures...

I was just doing some thinking was all. People are social creatures and live in communities, even small towns have hundreds of people which is still decent. Each person has their own vices and you honestly never know what even your own next door neighbor is into. Kinda reminded me of when people are strictly anti gay marriage, but never give real reason why outside of "I don't like it", when said couple activities would be in private anyway. The same goes for more adult anime. Why should I care if someone is watching lolicon when they don't pay my bills? I shouldn't and neither should anyone else.

I don't watch anime, but he does portray both sides? Meh, different cultures may seem weird to each other.

The reporter is against lolis and he interviews two people against lolis. The only one in the video that is against the ban only got a few words in (because of the short time they allocated to him) and the reporter was arguing against him. The reporter didn't argue against the side that was for the ban.

Both sides were represented but the video was heavily biased towards favoring the ban. News should stick to facts and reporters should be unbiased. This report did neither.

I remember a time when the saying was "Don't trust what you read on the internet." While this might still be true for some cases, when it comes to news, no. You're practically forced to get factual information from the internet these days vs the shoddy reporting on the air.
