After what I predicted to be a rather stressful Christmas, I treated myself to a Denon AVR-2311 AV receiver and that then caused me to upgrade the HTPC in there, as the Shuttle I was using, although perfect in terms of noise and space requirements, did not do Bitstream audio over it's HDMI output. I've experimented with a new build of old bits, consisting of an intel DH67BL board, i3 2120 CPU, 8GB of Corsair DDR3 RAM and a evga Geforce GTX 650 which I removed the stock fan from and literally glued an 80mm case fan to as it was too noisy. 

 

Then I remembered I had a socket 1150 Gigabyte board left over from upgrading my machine earlier in the year. I tested it'd do what I wanted by borrowing an i3 4170 from work, which it did. Ordered a Pentium G3258 and it arrived about 20 minutes ago, all installed and working.

 

Installed all the hardware into an hp pavilion case which housed the shop bought PC I was using as an HTPC some years ago before I moved in with my wife. I sold it to my best friend who needed it upgrading, so it felt fitting to recycle it. The new hardware doesn't generate much heat so it being an old fashioned design with only 1 exhaust fan prevision doesn't matter. Very pleased with the low cost of this upgrade.

Eh. Evo X looks okay with one. Stuff like most of the Chevys and Buicks though... Ugh.

 

That's one reason I'm happy we're going to move somewhere with only the rear plate required. I'm afraid my LeSabre would look kinda retarded with a front plate. Like my car already has the spot for the plate on the front bumper, but it would just look weird.

Evo X looks too asymmetric for my OCD.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

They dont look like they would do very well with high frequencies. I like my titanium tweeters.

They seem to do quite well, better than my Polk r15

That is the dealer plate(free advertisement) that I purchased it from. Metal plates came in the mail a month later.

31 states actually require both. Like here in Michigan you only need the rear plate, and it's the same with Kentucky (where my family will be moving soon). But yet in Ohio you are required to have both. ;)

Texas requires it but is VERY lax on that law. Most people just throw it on the dash if they get pulled over.

We have the same thing in Texas. It is disguised as yearly vehicle registration. Costs more the heavier the vehicle you have. Heck I have to register my trailer and it doesn't have a motor!

Are you aloud to tow any size trailer. We can only tow up to 750kg (1650 lb) and that is including trailer anything heavier and you need a trailer license. The joke is if your 16 years old you can drive a massive farm tractor on the main roads towing a big ass trailer and all you need is a simple tractor license.

In Canada some provinces require it on the front and back, and some just on the back.  I think they may have changed it now, but in either case we always used to laugh at Saskatchewan for having it on the front :D

Yes. As long as the trailer is under 10,000lbs and the combined weight of towing vehicle (truck or tractor) AND trailer is 26,000 lbs or less

 

Over 26,000 you need a commercial drivers license class A

Great band. I saw them live for my first concert when I was 14. 1978 was the year. The opening act was The Cars. Styx was touring for Pieces of Eight album. Cars were touring for their first album. Loved the show.
