Just bought my first NAS (and a 3tb wd red). DSM software is pretty good but the cpu is a bit slow... But it does it's job pretty good!

I'd gone to get a Ringke case for my Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, while I was there, I'd had a rear tampered glass protection screen put on my phone. After I was done, I made the mistake of wandering into the tech mall which was right next to my phone shop. Ended up buying a 29" Ultra Wide monitor (though only 2560x1080 res) which was on sale, at an additional 15% off, couldn't help myself, 'sides, damn credit cards are way too handy! Snagged it and I can't say I regret it, liking what I see thus far....

Sure, but you can easily find much more on the net, I've read up to chapter 85 now, way more than in the books.....though I've heard Vol 4 is out. So, next in my sight are OPM Vols 2 and 4. B)  Buying the Manga/books is just my way to show support of my fave anime/manga/webcomics right now. Anyway, the main reason why I'd gotten a 21:9 monitor is for watching my fave BR movies without the annoying bars on top and bottom....

In all honesty, I only needed one. The whole pack was on offer for like £2 though, so I just picked up a 10 pack.

 

As for the use, it's just for the CD player in my car. It doesn't have an aux in, though it can be fitted with one, it was just cheaper to go down the CD route. That and there's just less faffing around with CDs.

Why not just load your music on an SD card or USB stick or something... better than CDs!

Hell, even DJs use USB sticks if they're not playing music from their laptops.

Somehow I am sure that they don't put compressed garbage on their computers. Well, if it is a decent DJ who is also up to deliver quality. And nowadays, people compress music for anything, even when having large storage. So, if you had a stick with 500 files at 128 kbit, and an uncompressed disc, which one would you choose? I would be choosing the good old CD.

Somehow I feel like quality is the least concern of those making the remixed synthesized garbage that passes for music these days

That's why DJs have only around 10 tracks on a single CD and about thousands of CDs lying around. I myself make it a habbit to have 320kbps tracks for every track I get. Beatport usually gives FLAC and WAVs in addition to 320 MP3s.
