Came across Bailen a few months ago. Missed them playing live in a record shop in Chichester. Maybe one day I'll catch them live.

Oh man, I forgot these guys existed. Gonna have to add some of this sweet, sweet soul to my R&B Spotify playlist.

Remembering the 1980's

Phil... Phil... Phil... Phil... where do I start with you? Better question - where do I end with you? Collins' / Genesis' tracks have this atmosphere around them that just gets your spine arched during your heightened listening sessions. I have yet to find a match in any other artist.

I forgot these guys existed - nice to see a bunch of new tracks from them in recent years. Plus, the music video for this track is right on point, and actually tries to tell a decent story, unlike so many sex, drugs, & rock n roll jump cut ADHD videos we have floating around from other artists today.

As for what I'm listening to, well, it's not much, as I've been giving my Spotify a (hopefully short) break. However, this means I've gone back into my SoundCloud archives and pulled out a gem of a beatmix/mashup from 2018 that really nails down a bunch of familiar tracks in a very danceable track. Enjoy!

Yeah the drumming in phil collins stuff is really something else. Especially in "In the air tonight"

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Hehehe, yeah, electro swing is some good stuff.  I like old school swing style music.  So, electro swing just sweet to me, as I like electro and dubstep style music as well.

Though, if you like that, may I introduce you to Caravan Palace.

You may like this as well.

No introduction needed, but I totally appreciate the share - I started down the electro swing path with Parov Stelar and Caravan Palace.

???????????

I remember throwing Lone Digger on the Chromecast at a friends place while we were placing Cards Against Humanity... Normally we just listen to music as background noise while playing, but as soon as Zoé broke out into the first chorus literally everyone in the room stopped paying any attention to the game and instead demanded to know who this was. Um, and the music video is something else, although definitely NSFW.
