NZXT H510

Should i buy an NZXT H510, i really like the look of it, but am not sure about the airflow, if you can think of any better cases in that same price range, please comment them below

or a 400a or a meshify c.

It has really bad airflow. I wouldn’t get it.

Do you like any of the following?:

• Fractal design meshify c
• Phanteks p300a
• phanteks p400a (digital or not)
• corsair 275r

It's not terrible in terms of airflow but it's also not great either.

 

If you like the look of the H510 but need better airflow, look at the NR600. Similar aesthetic but unlike the H510, the NR600 is one of the best cases in terms of how much it breathes.

p300a is the only one that'll fit into my budget

Acceptable airflow, and really easy to build inside. I highly suggest purchasing an extra fan so that you can have 2 intake and one exhaust.

 

Did a build in one somewhat recently, with a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070. Temps are pretty reasonable across the board.

if your dead set on the 510 for looks or a specific feature i guess go for that but do note that airflow is not its strongest thing.

do you happen to know anything about the fractal design focus g, that was the other one that i was looking at, specifically ease of building inside, because that was half of why i wanted the h510

Focus G has a very large mesh on the front, for some pretty good airflow. Reasonably spacious as well, it's a case that I've recommended a few times.

 

Similar story, only comes with 2 fans.

depends on what you want to prioritize the h510 is ok since it does have a side vent in the front but ofc its not going to be as good as a mesh front case like the focus g

Likely you heard about the 275R Airflow, which is the version with the vented front panel.

I have had it for about a year now, but I put an old AMD FX 8-Core in it with a tower cooler. The FX chips run hot. However, I LOVE everything about the case, everything is well placed and easy to get to. 10/10 would buy again.
