Apple wasn't overpriced when steve jobs was around, was a good guy.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Jobs but 1) this is like a generally known fact, guy is a legend for a reason, but 2) he's dead now ? so yeah doesn't really matter to current Apple whether Jobs was better than Cook or not, Cook is Cook and Jobs was Jobs. Apple is still doing well for itself, though I do think they made better stuff in the Jobs era, probably due to his extreme perfectionism.

Unanimously Jobs, he was the entrepreneur who strived to create perfection. Cook by comparison appears to bank on design and relying on Apple's current porfolio, very little innovation, and when there is, it's incremental at best.

No, Apple was outrageously overpriced and outdated when Jobs was around.

TLDR I don't know

if the question is based entirely on customer satisfaction through the period of working as CEO then the answer will be purely subjective

while the better at running the company should be much more complex

Steve Jobs pushed Apple into the direction they are at today. His charismatic attitude and passion for what he was doing assisted with what made Apple big. When he teased the Iphone his personality carried that conference. yes there was a piece of technology but nothing that we havnt seen in some iteration before. He pushed the apple team to make great looking products that just worked and worked with each other without any hassle.

Not really. Hell, his most remembered campaign for iPod, using silhouettes dancing, was "borrowed" from Nike.

Not really, and definitely not to the extent of Jobs stealing an idea and its implementation, patenting it in the US, and then suing the original creators for patent infringement.

Steve Wozniak is the only Apple person we worship round these parts.

But to answer your question, Steve Jobs from an innovation/cult of personality standpoint and Tim Cook from a less terrible person perspective.

Steve Jobs all the way. He might have been an Ass Hole. But all of these recalls and programs Apple has to setup due to piss poor hardware, wouldn't have happen under him. I think Apple probably would have been a bit more innovative with Jobs at the helm as well.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Exactly. The OP was asking who was the better CEO/leader of Apple, not who was the better person outside of that role (apparently Steve was extremely, extremely perfectionist and pretty much an asshole, though from what I've read he respected those who opposed him so long as they had actual reasons for doing so).

Only because Jobs ignored the issue and/or blamed the user.
