As a phone, I have the S9.

I dont have a case on it, because all the ones that I have tried muffle call quality. Though I am lucky, today it fell 6 foot off the top of the locker on the screen on hard concrete and didnt even have scratch on it!

Only other thing that bothers me are screen proctectors. I am getting scratches on the edge screen and all the screen protectors I have tried fall off within a week. Meh, I'll just grab an ifixit kit when it gets too bad ;)

I also run a Galaxy Tab S4 as my DD tablet. Love it so much better than the iPad

Galaxy watch of some description

Lenovo laptop with an AMD A9

Lenovo Micro PC M73 as a NAS setup

Main Rig: Ryzen 7 2700 | T-Force 32GB 3000mhZ | Corsair Carbide SPEC-06 Case | Corsair H100x AIO | Corsair CX750M PSU | Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Windforce OC

Storage Server: Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Mini PC | i3 4130T 2.90Ghz | 4GB SoDIMM | 500GB WD Blue Internal | 6TB Seagate External | 1TB Seagate External | OS: Openmediavault

Yeah, it's a great car. Soft comfy seats, smooth ride, V6 engine and gets 30mpg on the highway.

The camera sucks and it looks dated with the thick bezels. Also, the replacement screen I got a few months ago is absolute horse shit; the button backlight bleeds so much I had to outright disable it, there's a massive air gap between the actual display and the glass, the glass feels terrible to touch, and somehow the phone cracks just from normal use and being set down on tables.

I find smart watches are useful depending on your job. I work on cars all day so I leave my phone on my toolbox or hooked up to my shop stereo. My watch allows me to see whos calling or texting to see if I need to deal with it immediately or if it can wait for later, it also allows me to stop my music for when someone comes into my shop to ask me a question. Its very valuable to be able to not have to get up and leave the vehicle I work on to accomplish those tasks. Might not sound like much difference but every time you need to stop whatever your doing and put your tools down and go address something else it really cuts into productivity

Oh I get it. My wife uses a smart watch but for me I find it pointless. Sorry I didn't clarify correctly. Being a truck driver for my main job keeps me next to my phone 24/7. When I get home I don't look at my phone if I can help it.

Currently using a Nexus 6P, bought it at the end of 2015. It's been great to me, though the phone suffers from the "instant dead battery" issue at ~30% (+/- 10% randomly). I'm considering moving onto an iPhone after hearing about their ludicrous longevity, and also for ease of finding accessories such as phone cases and screen protectors.

OnePlus 6 (still going very strong, best phone I ever had, battery is getting old. Thinking of going Nord 2)
Mac Mini M1 256/16 (for audio/video/photo editing and websurfing)
DIY Ryzen 2700K/32/NVMe512/NVME1TB/GTX1660 (for gaming and it's my workbench pc)
Macbook Air M1 256/16 (Actually bought that because even Linus was impressed by the M1 and I wanted a new laptop anyway, this lead to me buying the Mini. Not bad for a notorious Apple critic, eh?)

And then there's a Lenovo 3rd gen i3 office PC for some random windows related stuff when I don't want to fire up my Ryzen (the i3 is at my workdesk). There's a Dell 4rd gen i3 office PC hooked up to my projector for video stuff, and there's a Dell Latitude 3rd gen i5 with 8gb and a 128gb ssd that I use for testing software. Right now it's running Windows 11).

Typed this on the Air.

I'm not the owner of that post you responded to, but I can imagine that a 4 year old budget phone is probably worth replacing. With 200 dollar phones it's always 'it's good for the money', but they generally don't age well.
