I was planning to upgrade to a b550 and 5600 when 5600 releases. But now i went with a b450 AORUS ELITE since B550 does not support ryzen gen 1. Now everything is working fine. Mostly. On the b350 XMP 3200Mhz was working fine, now i cant run above 2666, not stable, idk if thats a board issue or something else. anyway able to game pretty well now.

So after ruling PSU, CPU and the ram out of the equation i put the 3060Ti in a h110 with an i3 7100 and stress tested for an hr and its fine. So the issue is my b350m gaming pro motherboard.
Will be getting it replaced tomorrow. thanks for the help guys.

Obviously cd projekt red doesnt see this as a long term project, simply create the hype and then release a shit product which people believe is good, make back the money within the first week and then goes “ha ha eat shit”

I'm so glad Microsoft is continuing the one-time purchase model. While a lot of us would also prefer other companies would still be following suit, it unfortunately doesn't seem like companies will. Regardless, I think we should all applaud Microsoft for keeping One-Time purchases for as long as they have.

True, I'm more excited about larger in depth open world RPGs with more realistic characters that don't constantly repeat the same audio file tbh 

After 10 years you'll be laugh at quality of todays games, even if now you think they're perfect. No, it's still possible to improve graphics a lot - you can compare how real world looks like and how it looks in games. It's still long way to made it perfect. New game engines will require new, more powerful cards. New monitors with higher framerate needs more power. And now you barely can achieve 60fps @8K when you're using 3090 card (at least in theory - is not released yet). So better graphics (more natural) and 8K 144Hz is still something that will require more power that computers can deliver now. And don't worry - programmers will always find a way to made things more complicated (and complex). :)

Because it means nothing, future proofing does not mean anything and you kind of can't do it, we do not know what's going to happen in the future and you can't future proof, getting a system that will do what ever you need it to do currently is what's important.

the r5 3600 is better than the r7 2700x in almost every task, especially gaming, and is cheaper.
nvidia is launching the 3000 series, it's not sensible to spend 400+ on the 2060 super.
