Games aren't CPU demanding like Rendering, which is something that gets lost on most of the tech sphere. What they leverage is extremely fast, small calculations, especially in DX11. What screws up any of the CMT parts isn't really the CMT, but the interior parts of the pipeline. That's the bit that gets lost about what happened with Piledriver.

The x300 parts will bottleneck between 80 to 100 FPS in most game engines. The 5 Ghz parts go a little higher, but not that much. Unless you put a 2080 Ti in one, you're not getting that at 4K. That's why it doesn't bottleneck there. At least, not as much.

Oh shit, so it can do 4k fine as long CPU is not a demand?! I thought it can do 1080P only because there are a lot of videos on Youtube where testers test 1080P with GTX 1070 and it seems like FX 8350 will bottleneck it without OC, and even OC will reduce bottleneck to the point it is not very noticeable. GTA 5 for example will hit FX 8350 a lot. 

I've noticed some topics since the RTX cards launched saying things like GTX 2070 or GTX 2080 instead of RTX. It strikes me as unusual because a tech forum of all places should have a user base that understands the distinction. Do you guys think that some users see it as a feature that is not noteworthy so they disregard it (despite being the official product name), or maybe it's just lost in translation?

It seems like Apple is stepping up the game! This is a rumor, so I will take it as a grain of salt until the final product goes live. One thing that surprise me is Apple finally put a big battery onto the IPhone. The 4000Mah battery with optimize IOS could make the phone last quite a long time. 120Hz display is also nice as well. 
Once again, this rumor is come from a sketchy Chinese new site...............

Huawei is good, the fuck you are talking about mate. I don't know about Xiaomi phones though, but Huawei Mate 9 and 10 are good deal on Amazon US. I am tired of Samsung phone because slow support and security update.
