Spare time?? Bud it will take you tops 4 hours to assemble your own pc. Not really a valid argument you have. 

You need a new power supply and motherboard. The B450M-A is a horrible board with crap VRMs. It won't handle a 3700X. The Power Supply is also VERY poor quality and I would not use it with such hardware.

It'll work fine. But get a Sapphire Pulse or Power Color Red Devil. The Aorus cooler is mediocre.

3700x + 5700 XT - if you don’t want / need ray tracing or dlss.
 
Or if you want it then go with 3700x + 2070s or grab a 3600

I'll go for the cl16 then it's a little cheaper the reason why I kinda want 32gb Is sometimes I host a heavily modded minecraft server and 90% of my ram is used when playing on it and hosting it. I don't think ddr5 will come out till a couple of years it's not even in the server space yet.

I also suggest the Meshify C. Have one myself and the airflow is excellent 

Meshify C is probably the best all-around option for something under $100.

@PapaPP nothing to worry about. It’s just a boot process the board goes through ( same board and I believe mine does it as well every now and then). I have the MSI splash screen; no windows boot logo.

The 2070 Super and 2080 are the only big boy GPUs in your budget, the 2080ti is too much. Depending on the PSU you have, either would probably call for that to be upgraded as well. New GPUs are supposed to be coming out in september of this year so it might be wise to hold off and see what comes out or at least wait until then to get a used one for cheap when others upgrade. But if you want to get one now, I'd say 2070 Super or 2080 go for the best you can get for your budget. Either will pair fine with the 3600.

so no need to spend the extra money for the m.2 (gaming only)

I really genuinly hope you didnt pay anymore than 50~ for that pc. 
 
I guess you could get a better videocard? To upgrade the rest you'd need to upgrade everything else along with it. So yknow.

Usually a pc will try and boot 5 times and if it fails revert back settings to stock. Your board should easily run 3600mhz. Are you using the correct two slots so they running dual channel?

And we'll get more of him. He's a busy guy and with COVID-19 its not like LTT is on a regular production schedule. He's probably working on a few projects right now and the new 2020 13" MacBook Pro video.
