if you're looking at upgrading to zen3 ryzen 4000s without getting a new motherboard...wait for the b550 motherboards...xD...

Unless your in a dire situation I which the 3700x is perfectly good and will pair nicely with that 2080 super :D

Yes it would but I still recommend waiting for zen 3 and if you didn't like what zen 3 has to offer you can get a 3700x for even cheaper
