Every system will have a bottleneck. Assuming your wondering about the processor... The final answer will depend on games, resolution, and refresh rate planned. Regardless, that's a really solid pairing.

I run a 5600x and 3080 Ti and have no processor bottleneck at 3440x1440 @120 Hz.

Reviews seem to show a little performance gain moving higher than a 5600x when your trying to push 300+ FPS in some games, but that's not typically 3070 territory.

Regardless, OP is totally safe here.

Valid. Avoid moving a spinning hard drive.

What are you talking about? No. Downloading games overnight to an external hard drive is not even remotely a fire hazard; desktop, laptop, or otherwise. Leaving a computer running overnight is not a fire hazard.

I'd start by uninstalling SignalRGB and see if the behavior goes away.

Alternatively, try a different mouse and see if it does the same thing. That will tell you if it's hardware or software.

Screen size will be a factor, too... too big a screen & 1080p will look grainy; too small a screen & stuff may have you reaching for a magnifying glass on 1440p.
    24-27" for 1080p, 27-32" for 1440p.

Same combo here on 3440x1440 120 Hz. Zero issues.

Possible, yes, but an external SSD for games and such would better suit you in the long run.

Check the battery settings page to see what's used battery over the last 24 hours. 11 percent overnight does seem a little high, but totally depends on what apps you have running that might be making background data/location/whatever requests.

RAS_3885 got a reaction from NoSmokinginUFOs in Over Clocking my Nvidia RTX 2080 Super... Bad or Good idea?
Arguable safer than CPU overclocking since you can't really set too much voltage like you can with a CPU in the BIOS.

MSI Afterburner is probably the most popular software tool. There are tons of guides online on how to do it. There's even an Auto OC function for the core clock for an easier time.

So, another quick (and hopefully final) update on this:

    - After a few days with the spare 850w psu I borrowed I determined that the issue was indeed a faulty PSU.
    - I bought a new Seasonic Focus GX-850 psu and installed it yesterday, I've been using my pc without issue since it (very little time, yes but I'm confident)

So that's it I think, I won't update this topic anymore unless there's any news in the coming days, thanks for you reply again @RAS_3885🙂

RAS_3885 reacted to dizmo in Pixel 6 seems to reject charging over low-quality USB-C cables for some users
Unfortunate, but honestly I don't think it's a huge issue. People should just be buying both the appropriate charger for their device, and cables that aren't a couple dollars at the dollar store. I'd rather this than have phones with some kind of damage due to a shitty bargain bin cable.

If the above doesn't work, try with just one RAM stick at a time. Could be a faulty RAM module causing issues.

RAS_3885 reacted to RONOTHAN## in Do Intergarated Graphics Matter on Gaming PC?
Not really. They will serve one of two functions

1.) Troubleshooting. Being able to quickly test if a system works without a functioning GPU is very useful, and if you have to RMA your GPU for some reason you won't be out a system for a week while you wait for a new one. This alone is why if the CPU I want has the option of getting an iGPU, I always get the one with the iGPU and consider it worth the extra $10-15.

2.) Transcoding. You can use the iGPU as a hardware video transcoder, useful for streaming, video exports, and a couple other things.

If you're on a tight budget or don't really care about the ease of troubleshooting, sure get the non-iGPU one, but I personally consider it worth getting.
There might also be the fact non-iGPU CPUs overclock a little better since the iGPU isn't sucking any extra power or producing extra heat, but it's something you'd only really notice if you were going sub-zero.

Yeah, forgot I have a 1/4" connector on my headphones and agree, it's way larger than the picture above. I think the above stating 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm is probably right.

Maybe it's the picture, but it doesn't look like it has a 3.5 mm connection at both ends. Looks like the end on the right is larger, maybe a 1/4" connector?
