Over Clocking my Nvidia RTX 2080 Super... Bad or Good idea?

NoSmokinginUFOs

I've got a really stable system, that run's really Cool so I've been thinking about over clocking my GPU (RTX 2080 Super) is it just as safe over clocking a Cpu? Has anyone specifically done this? If so had did it turn out, and was it worth the work? Appreciate any Responses in advanced!!!

Arguable safer than CPU overclocking since you can't really set too much voltage like you can with a CPU in the BIOS.

MSI Afterburner is probably the most popular software tool. There are tons of guides online on how to do it. There's even an Auto OC function for the core clock for an easier time.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

Some online guides are a bit silly so use lots of grains of salt.
