I need to switch cpu to my old to my new cpu to get my pc to start and boot at all.

So I recently upgraded to ryzen 5 5600x on my b450 f gaming motherboard and nothing happend when I press the power buttom but when i installed my ryzen 5 3600 my pc started then I switch back to my ryzen 5 5600x and the pc started up normally and evreything worked fine for some hours but when I turned my pc off again  it wont start up again until I do that cpu switch again. So nothing at all happends when I press the power butten not even a fan is spining 

 

So what can the problem be ?

BIOS updated? When you install the 5600x try clearing CMOS and see if it boots normally.

i already have latest bios installed and if the bios wouldn't be capable of running the ryzen 5 5600x the pc wouldn't boot at all right ? in my case when i get the pc to turn on Everything Works fine until i turn it off again.

It was just a simple troubleshooting question. Thanks for confirming you're running the latest.

 

How about a CMOS clear/reset with the new CPU installed? Does that change the behavior?
