Yeah I'd say an 850W would be heaps. It's a 300W card yeah? Even if it ran up to 600W you should still have room with an 850W

Running fans & pump at 30% I can barely hear a thing and can't hit thermal limits maxing out both CPU & GPU with simultaneous stress tests. Ready for summer when ambient room temp will raise to around 40 deg Celsius.
 

If you are keeping both drives in the system I see no point in doing it.

Ok. Next thing I think then would be to try uninstalling the drivers, removing the device, restarting windows, reinstalling drivers.

Windows defender is good enough, with maybe KVRT and Malwarebytes for really really rainy day. Common Sense is the best antivirus you can own.

You can populate them all without disabling any on that board.

I don't see any indications in the manual that any ports get disabled with all occupied.

It appears the switch is on the 12V line and all other connections are normal.
So you need to remove the 5V line (red).
Swap the switched 12V line (yellow) to the 5V pins. Best done by rehousing the pins if you can.
 
You will then need either 5V fan or add a relay that can switch the 12V off the 5V signal.
I suppose you could also just put the relay on the 12V to switch the 5V
 
Or you could purchase a DPST switch and switch both sides at the same time.

At a guess I would say 1 & 3 are normally closed and 2 & 4 are normally open and that the 2 in the middle are for the light.
At a closer look I realize what I thought I saw and based my guess on isn't there.
