Vash. got a reaction from kirashi in WordPress - Setting up Categories, Tags & Attributes Properly (Advice Needed)
Thanks heaps for the response and info mate, was begining to think no one would respond. It's really appreciated.

Ultimately I had trouble trying to figure out if Genre should be a secondary Category, Tag or Attribute as it technically could be either however, I would like to use best practice and make sure it's done correctly. I plan to add several 100 items so as you can imagine it will be VERY annoying having to re-do it if wrong.

The Woo com info was good to get a scope of how to use category, tags and attributes.. it did confuse me a little as they used clothing as an example which, didn't have as many variables as movies/music.

    Eg..

    Parent Categories
    - T-shirt

    Tags
    - Cat prints

    Attributes
    - Size
    - Colour

With this example I feel like Cat prints should be a secondary/nested category instead of a Tag.

Good idea about the post-it notes. I may give that a crack as I find it easier to figure things out when it's physically tangible.

While I haven't had to setup a Woo Commerce based WordPress store in AGES, I think you're on the right track. If I were a user visiting your side wishing to browse instead of just searching for items, I'd typically look for media by type (movie, music, tv show, game, book, etc.) then by genre (horror, thriller, suspense, drama, comedy, etc.) and expect the medium (paperback, eBook, DVD, streamable, MP3, FLAC, etc.) to be an attribute or "format" of the media.

However, I understand the pains of trying to determine whether tags or categories & sub-categories. The official Woo Commerce documentation gives a few examples of when to use categories, tags, and attributes, so you may wish to give it a read over. There are also quite a few other resources you can check out, but ultimately may wish to list all the different types of products you're planning to sell using sticky notes and waterfall lanes on a whiteboard so you can simulate how to lay these out.

Why a verification of a copy. It throws an exception window on a fail copy. No popup the copy worked. Explorer copy use the Win32Native.CopyFile() method which already handle these.

i spot 3 fan headers on it, but as mentioned, you can use hubs or splitter cables to power as many as you want.

These are 1A fan connectors, so i would have max 3 fans on each slot, so 9 fans in total.

I don't see any reason to use some special file-manager, Explorer works just fine. The only thing it isn't very good at is renaming multiple files at once according to a pattern, but that's the only thing I use an external app for.

    Total Commander
Customizable, 2 panel view, multiple tabs per panel, LOTS of very useful keyboard shortcuts (some same as the ones used in DOS apps like Norton/Volkov Commander or DOS Navigator, search built in, multi rename tool (rename selected files based on some parameters, ftp client for quick transfers, built in packers and unpackers (view archive contents as regular folder) etc etc
if you learn shortcuts you'd be surprised how fast everything becomes when you no longer move hand to mouse (but you can use mouse if you want to)

I use the one built into the OS, always.  In Windows that's Explorer, when I've run Linux that's been most commonly Nautilus, or Konqueror, or sometimes Thunar.  I have never understood what draws people to third party options.

    @coaltown992

I understand your concern, you can try and see if the seller sells multiple GPU's or other kind of PC parts, this would alert you if he was a miner.
Always ask for video proof that the card works and some stresstest/benchmark for atleast 1-2 minutes as it will show if the card is in working condition, everything else is just on luck.

    Good luck !

    as some1's
as some1's who's used a wide gamut monitor for gaming for many years (1440p 60hz atm)

Here's my current thought process. The next realistic monitor upgrade is going to be 4k/120hz/hdr, so that already kicks the 1080 out the window, which depending on your budget also skips the 20xx gen, this is NOT a bad thing. The bandwidths of the cable atm (dp1.4) only supports 4k/98hz with hdr enabled. I'd stick with 60hz for now (no need for 1080) if it goes overbudget. I

f you get a 1080 right now it's not futureproof (barely games at 4k), better off waiting on a better upgrade

Basically we are about 2 years away from having the ideal setup, the tech falls a bit short on multiple fronts.

Vash. reacted to Sakkura in Why doesn't AMD OC above 4.0GHZ?
Just the specifics of the architecture and process. AMD wanted much higher IPC than their previous chips, and low power consumption - those goals tend to clash with the goal of higher clocks.

(for example, you can make a really long pipeline to get better overclocking, but that also hurts overall IPC)

McAfee reports that it has found a ransomware in the Google Play store, which have already been removed by Google as we speak.
Dubbed LeakerLocker, this latest threat was discovered in the app Wallpapers Blur HD and Booster & Cleaner Pro.

Unlike traditional ransomware, this one doesn't encrypt your data, instead if will publish all your personal information online if you don't pay. This is called doxxing, a new type of ransomware. Doxxing tend to search through documents, apps stored data, for any personal information it can found, like stored passwords, social security number (if yo have it in a document or stored somewhere) phone numbers, e-mails, potentially pictures, and so on.

The ransomware asks $50 US equivalent in Bitcoins with the promise of not leaking your personal information it managed to acquired.
Bellow is a screenshot of what the app shows:

McAfee reports that the mentioned apps have already been downloaded thousands of times.
Although, many reviewers indicated that some people where actually paying attention to the permission the app needed, where they wondered why the app needs permissions for the phone Contacts. Although, we can easily imagine other apps who looks like it would naturally need access to the phone contacts and other things, and are granted by the user. As we can see bellow screenshots, the app still managed to get great reviews.

    McAfee says:

McAfee recommends to not to pay anything to these ransomware, as it encourages more of them.

It is recommended that you should be careful what you download on your phone, especially that security updates are difficult to be passed from manufactures not delivering all Android updates, and carrier blocking updates. In addition, to carefully read what permissions the app asks for, and be sure the app doesn't ask permission it should not need. Keep in mind of also time based attacks, where the app might work just fine and after a few days, or after you post a good review, it infects you.
