Unpopular opinion, but electric cars are made to be disposable. Right to repair or not, the current design doesn't permit feasible, and cost effective replacements. I cannot see a future "more service friendly" design being feasible either.
An internal combustion vehicle will for a long time, be easier, cheaper and more practical to keep on the road. Even many many years past it's serviceable life.
I can get a carb rebuild kit for 30 dollars for my 1955 Chevy. Even my modern Silverado, everything is very serviceable, and parts are relatively cheap.
EDIT: Even for modern internal combustion cars, the tech can be problematic sometimes, and companies withold valuable shop manuals and electrical schematics moreso than ever. Some even try to keep some functions and programming locked behind proprietary scan tools. This is... thankfully defeated in most cases by the aftermarket.

Now, cars aside, I am a staunch opponent of manufacturers soldering RAM to the mainboard of laptops, as well as SSDs. This makes the units much hard to service, and upgrade. Dell even does this with their Latitudes now, which are business oriented!

PCI-E 3.0 is still difficult to max out. You are fine. Unless you plan to run tons of NVME SSDs.

That is correct. EPYC is SOC(or system on chip).

^^^ Pretty sure EPYC doesn't have a chipset and works differently from TR while also having lower base and boost clocks (compared to TR3000). TR3000 would be preferable for all 3 use cases.

Archer20 reacted to Kisai in Is a USB Hub slower when multiple devices are connected ?
The entire bandwidth with be consumed by the first device on the lowest numbered port on the hub, and when you plug in subsequent devices, they will be starved of bandwidth if they try to use more than the upstream port has available. This is typically why every high speed device says not to use a USB Hub.

You can use a Hub, you just can't use two high speed devices on one. So if you have a 4K camera and a SSD connected to a hub connected to the same port, both will suffer, but the camera will suffer more since it can't dial back it's bandwidth unlike the SSD. It won't know which device has more priority.

To be safe, only low bandwidth devices should be plugged into hubs (eg mouse, keyboard, graphics tablet, gamepads, etc) and even then, high-dpi devices might start malfunction since they require a higher bandwidth entirely for the interrupt rate.

There's no such thing as Intel 7nm, their soon to be relased still on 14nm.
And the best they can do is 10nm which is still in development.
The best CPU in their lineup only have 10 cores.

We need to get out of the mentality that intel has higher single core. In fact, 3xxx has higher IPC in quite a few workloads than intel's current gen, and at similar clockspeeds beats intel. We also need to keep in mind that as multicore becomes the standard, single core matters less and less.

Cyber Security has many jobs indeed. There are many "subspecializations" such as penetration testing, cryptography, port/firewall security, intrusion detection/prevention etc. It truly gives an individual a ton of choice.

Getting into Cyber Security requires you to practice things on your own, get a Bachelor Degree, and to constantly read tech news articles. There are plenty of resources out there to keep up to date. Now as far as being the fall guy, that usually falls on the CISO(the Chief Information Security Officer) to handle in a major company. If you are under that level and weren't negligent, you typically have nothing to worry about. The only way you could be blamed is if you failed to uphold the company security policy or made a huge mistake. If you have any questions regarding getting into it and what certs may be required, feel free to ask.

In any case to answer your question regarding A+, it is primarily a memory based exam. Meaning it's written, not practical. While building a PC will help you understand, as well as dealing with the OS, it won't help you as much as a dedicated study guide for the exam. I recommend getting the official study material which should come with a voucher.

I started my IT career as a computer tech in a small repair shop. People brought their stuff in and we, as techs fixed it. It depends on where you work. Usually you become well versed in one area or another, especially Mac vs PC. We had Mac techs and then we had Windows guys. I was a Windows guy for the shop.
I ended up going to college though after spending a year and a half there. So I got my bachelor's in Cyber Security & Network Engineering for greater pay and more opportunities. As a word of advice, if that is an option for you, I recommend it. There is very little growth in PC repair and a stagnant payscale.

The Epic Games Store. I refuse to download it, even if the spyware thing has been debunked. One reason: timed exclusives barred from other stores. If I wanted to play the "exclusives" game, I would have bought a console. Exclusives should not be a thing on PC. I should be able to use my game launcher of choice.

2019 was a really mellow year for both my main rig and my server. My server got an upgraded boot drive and my main rig, for the most part, is as it was. 2019 was a software year for me though lol.

Granted, electronics have a measure of "defense" (especially modern electronics) against ESD, but people don't think of it as a risk because it's hard to feel low-voltage ESD discharges.

On top of that, most people have the view of "if it has never happened to me, it must not really be a problem" with most things in life, let alone ESD.
