Yeah, modular is definitely not a space or cost efficient/effective way of making music. Fun though!

Well I was researching some stuff for a future build and then I came across this.
 

I've been playing for something like 10-12 years, but only wanted to take it seriously for the past couple. I've had exams and health problems holding me back for ages, but hopefully I'll be able to attack with gusto this summer! 
Here's my pride and joy:

Suhr Modern Satin with a bareknuckle juggernaut in the bridge. Got some more wiring stuff to do this summer to change the switching. Tis a thing of beauty.

Yeah it is, but I don't really care about that too much. I don't think that any ibanez RGs with fancy tops aren't veneer, unless you're going prestige or arched top or something. 

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. If you're learning and your guitar doesn't inspire you to pick it up off the stand, it doesn't matter how good it sounds. It's only a narrow thing, mind. To me, the most inspiring thing is playing your favourite songs and sounding as good as or better than the original. A bad sounding guitar can never deliver such pleasures

I've been on this forum since waaaay back near the very beginning, and over time the friendly-ness of the community dropped, I started seeing way less familiar faces in threads, more trolling and lots of repetitive threads that could be solved with a quick google so I kinda left for ages. 
It's good to see this little nugget of positive vibes is thriving here

I'm well aware that such a thing is possible, however it's not something I want to do. After spending most of a day on tonymacx86, I decided it wasn't worth my time being and unsupported, potentially glitchy hassle that I don't want to deal with.
