Samsung isn't going to RD THAT and then slash the price just cause they're good guys and want sales. They'll give it A healthy margin and then add 20% as a luxury tax, because that's how they want it viewed. Not some disposable plastic G Watch, but a daily use time piece that looks good.
And for that, the prices will come up.

I Could give you a million use cases and you'd still irrationally hate it for an arbitrary reason. That's just who you are. I've noticed it in your posts. . It takes less power to just have multiple 4K streams running and cutting/pasting clips than it does to actively edit a 4K stream with effects, colour correction, and anything advanced. Plus, Apples demo highlighted how it can have multiple 4K streams going concurrently WITHOUT DROPPING FRAMES which is a huge thing on its own. 4K is just plain demanding for any hardware, so props where props are due.
In for far as Force Touch, it's a little more than right click. It's not even long press. It's pressure based, which gives a faster tactile response. You don't press longer. You press harder, some people have trouble here. iOS 9s multitasking leverages this quite nicely, but that would mean these people actually using the new iPhone and iPad which they can't, which means we've got a bunch of shit talkers.

SSDs getting cheaper is only a good thing. Flash tech will only get cheaper. Flash tech has the benefit of, unlike spinning platters, in that there is no 'ceiling' on the performance in development terms. Every year you get newer tech that gives you faster speeds and better yields. That'll keep on happening for YEARS IMHO. 
 
Thats why SSDs aren't tanking in a manner we like. Simply too new and too developed on a yearly basis to free fall. But for average SSDs, we are already at under a dollar per gig. Thats great if you need a small boot drive (just swapped out my parents laptops for 120GB Crucials at 70 dollar a pop, not bad at all eh?) I myself got stupidly lucky a couple years ago and got a 480GB drive for 300. 

It's done by using two camera viewpoints done in engine, not by having two pictures or displays..

Well considering you need to have a consistent frame rate all the time, this is a "duh" thing.

Sea salt and chlorine will nuke rubber seals, hence why Sony so very clearly states that their new phones with the flapless USB covers can only handle mild soakings, not full on dunking. I guess you could go for a dunk in fresh water, if you wanted to.

People don't buy a 2.4 pound 0.55" thick computer because of price to performance ratios, they buy it because its 2.4 pounds and 0.55" thick.
 
Of course you can custom build a desktop that is 25 pounds heavier and outperforms it on every metric but you're not going to take that desktop to an office meeting are you? Or to coffee shop? Or with you on a weekend trip?

Do what about it? Shift production to North America? Yea, they already did it with one product, the product that carries their highest margins, because thats how expensive the shift is to North American or even European production. 
 
I don't think you guys understand how little companies like to pay for increased production costs. They don't. The mandate is to maintain to increase margins, decreasing margins requires one iron clad justification (like when Apple shifted the Mac Pro over to North America). 
 
Furthermore, even Apple couldn't afford the production scale to shift over all their production elsewhere and do it on their own. It is maddeningly expensive. Apple would effectively have to run a small city just to produce everything on their own. 
They could do something, if they wanted to piss away a 50 billion dollars to do it. No one wants to do that. The day they leave is the day China becomes too expensive for them. Thats all it is. Stop acting like Apple can influence anything. Do you think anyone outside of the internet gives a shit that these factories in China exist? Your tech, your TVs, your clothing; no one cares. Lets stop painting one company as the literal devil for being there.
