your hotspot is a bit higher then theirs, but still within spec, anything under 100c is considered "Acceptable" by manufactures. You can certainly contact who you bought it from and see if it would be considered for RMA, but if its not causing any clock throttling they probably wont accept it.

i just got my AW2725DF last night coming from a old Asus MG279Q and just returning a cooler master tempest gp27q and keeping my asus to go along with the AW and so far it's been great for FPS games and watching media imo 4k still just isn't worth it yet because nothing pushing it to 200+ fps on most new titles so i still feel 27in 1440p monitor are still the best spot right now. so you will be blew away either way with oled coming from 1080p to. i will say go in and turn brightness up to 100% and contrast to 75% and it looks great imo.

Well I got over my OLED burn in fear. Cancelled the order and ordered the AW2725DF which is that 360hz 1440p oled 27". I just wanted to post the update and thank you guys for the information.

I was really looking at 4K because I think my computer can run it however I just could not find anything that looked perfect for me. I am very interested in that dual hz LG 4k/1080p  but that's not coming out until October and I want something now.

I play mostly shooter games so I figured that would be the perfect solution but this AW oled seems awesome and I'm coming from 1080p so im sure I'll be happy

With 4K gaming, you really want to get the most GPU you can afford. To do at least 144fps in multiplayer games would require a decent, though not necessarily top-end CPU.

So in order to meaningfully answer this, we'd need to have some idea of your budget. If the answer is "I just want the best at the best price" then an RTX 4090 paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 32GB of DDR5-6000CL30 memory on a B650 board is probably the cheapest option to give a solid 4K gaming experience, and should be able to play any game (barring horrible optimization like City Skylines 2) at 80fps, and all multiplayer games at well over 144fps using competitive settings.

FreeSync and GSync are interchangeable these days, its not like it was 5 years ago.

I'm not sure when you'd ever turn VRR off, anyway. You turn it on and its just on all the time.

Disregard the this vs. that clickbait thumbnail image, this is a informative video of the state of VRR.

The monitor linked above is the 280hz IPS one, not the New OLED 360hz one 🙂

Otherwise this monitor has had various reviews, some really like it some its just another monitor.

280hz fast IPS youll be fine for a few years until the OLEDs come down in price enough

I can understand the frustration but what you're experiencing is quite rare and may not even be related to the card itself at all. It can be just unstable RAM, have you actually checked if it's not throwing any errors?

The motherboard has two A-RGB headers. You can go all Lian Li, but I'd suggest Deepcool instead. It has a white 360 A-RGB AIO and sells 3 packs of matching fans.

You will have to check loads, but I believe the two A-RGB headers can support nine A-RGB fans. This will let you use the motherboard Mystic Light software.

I should have mentioned this, my apologies this was actually one of the only 7900 XT that I could find in white and unfortunately I cannot find one in stock anywhere near me or online but I will check out your link as I am using talk to text right now and thank you for the reply

There are literally HINDREDS of those out there, all different sizes and resolutions. I have a 3.5" one and you can either connect it to an USB-A, USB-C or directly to one of motherboard's USB headers, depending on the cable you have or you order. The software is a 3rd party software and doesn't come with it. Usually there is a basic sheet with simple instructions with link for download, which you have to type in manually letter by letter. Mine uses Turing Smart Screen. They are cool and you can mount them wherever you want. You can also create your own theme and so on. With the software being open source, it basically all depends on you.

For a while now i've been thinking of mounting mine on the side of the PSU and storage shround with double-sided tape, right in the lower front corner inside the case, next to the glass panel,  but tbh i've been really lazy 😄

if you are buying the exact same display they are using then it will come with some form of documentation or software or instructions.

most people here don't use that specific display so it's not like it's a very common thing that has an established userbase here.

Maybe wait 2 to 4 weeks to see if the new Supers (4070 and 4070Ti) are available at MSRP, they'll be better value than current lineup
You won't use DLSS or RT in PubG and Warzone, and indeed all that is overkill, a 4070(S) will be more than enough already

If one of the cards you're debating is the 4070 Ti Super, wait until it actually launches so we know its performance. It's likely to be the better option between the two, though we will need to wait for reviews to know for sure.

Avoid taxes like the plague.  Shouldn't have to pay your local government to carry out business with a private entity.

And from my experience only when buying a cheap board does this create any sort of savings.  By the time you buy a expensive board (x299 for example from a recent threadripper build my brother and I did) its not really savings.  The only reason we picked Microcenter was we needed that PC today

Literally always 180 at the local microcenter and today its actually selling for 170. Granted they sellout as well because of that and the motherboard bundle deals.

SocomSuade reacted to Delicieuxz in Steam isn't going to count reviews from review-bomb periods
That's wrong. A review bomb only means that lots of people are submitting their single personal review at that time, and that their review is negative.

If a review bomb happens, it's probably because a lot of individual people are legitimately upset about something.

If a game has an issue that affects people, and you make a negative review because of it, should your review not count because many other people encountering the same issue also gave their negative review at the same time? Of course not.

Censoring negative reviews because they happen during "review bombs" is fraud, IMO.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is a case where people have been negative reviewing the game for legitimate reasons, but the negative reviews haven't been showing up in the All Reviews figure at the top of the page. I was wondering why.

The negative reviews for DiRT Rally 2.0 have not been a review bomb, they are not band-wagoning on each other, but are each explained by the reviewer. The lack of force feedback support, the awful always-online DRM, and the bugs are the primary points of criticism.

World of Tanks can be decent - the game is really stable, doesn't need a beefy system to be played. The only problem nowadays is that it's way too team reliant, though you can still have loads if fun if winning isn't your only objective. Playing without putting in some money into it can be slow and miserable at times, but i'd still recommend trying it.
League of Legends was my favorite game for 3 or so years, now I've switched to Apex as well, and it's an amazing game. Works really well for me, no crashes, no performance issues.
