If anybody here has a problem, i repair that stuff. Mostly modular system modules, Buchla, Cwejman, Sequential Circuits/Dave Smith, Moog, Korg etc... I haven`t had all of them, since there are just too many, but quite a few and maybe i can help.

I haven't dropped this since i got it, but with it being refurbished on ebay, I'm slightly worried about that, but there were no visible signs of a drop when i got it but the  issue has  been there since i first opened the laptop. I will try using display driver uninstaller though

Not until haswell do I think i3s started becoming viable gaming CPUs

Probably not even worth me responding at this point, but for the sake of clarification with facts:
Your current GPU is capable of running almost any game at 60fps, high settings 1080p. Upgrading to an Intel i5 is probably your best choice considering you don't wan't to wait for ZEN, its within your budget ($100 mobo), plus having a newer generation mobo/cpu makes the rig more suitable for future upgrades. Your next upgrade would probably be GPU, SSD, or PSU depending on your scenario.
 
If you are content with 1080p, I would suggest an SSD. If you upgrade your GPU for better display resolution, you will need a higher wattage PSU.
More ram is always better, and cheap if you find you are running low.
 
I think you are in a great place with your computer, and I wish you luck with it.

yes i always see people overclocking on the cheapest MSI socket 1150board, i believe its H81-P33 or something

It'd work, but you'd probably clean some capacitors and what not off as well...

Make sure that you've plugged your monitor into the 460 and installed the driver. Shouldn't have to do anything else.

You can just plug it into your new computer and grab the information off of it and if you want to use it in your new computer, then you will just have to format the drive.

like when you try to change your default browser, it's all like "aw cmon at least give me a try :'(" it's trying to act all personal and it gets pretty annoying

okay, first you can try the openvpn it is pretty cheap
1. free vpn are often unstable and have a data limit
2,the file will first go though you vpn than you computer,so both
3,the host of a unsafe vpn can get all you data upload and download to the internet
4, the most client base vpn are connect to you entire computer

in all honesty though, I interned for a computer repair shop, and 89% of my time was spent on upgrading old people's antiviruses
when you do need to actually repair stuff, we mostly used a screwdriver, but when troubleshooting we had 2 pc's that we knew all the parts worked for and we would swap parts out of it with the parts we were testing
also canned air or an air pressurizer is a must, every pc you work on will have dust in it
we also clean off people's keyboards and screens mostly because we didn't want to touch it, but also because it got them to come back
a list of things I reccomend:
thermal paste
multiple usb sticks with OS installers on them
ide>sata and sata>ide converters
spare system(s)
easy access to ethernet
usb hard drive connectors (ide & sata)
spare ram
spare hard drives
external cd drive
cd's with useful bootable programs duch as disk testing and stuff
these are thenings that I used multiple times when I interned for a summer, and you may find them useful as well

Not even.. you only need 30mbps. That is what I have, and 4K videos is not a problem.

PSU tester. Save time troubleshooting non-working systems without carrying an expensive and heavy spare.
