you didn't understand, if the game caps at 60 fps then it will look best on a 60hz or 120hz monitor because the frame time will match with a refresh cycle which will make the game play smoother. a 100 hz monitor receiving a 60 hz signal will not match up nicely so screen tearing could occur etc. so gsync will stop the monitor refreshing at a 100 hz and instead at 60, and i was talking about the 34 inch monitor, which is 3440x1440 by the way (harder to drive). and sync is ideal as some games eg the witcher 3 and other demanding titles are not going to sit at the refresh rate of either monitors at max settings so gysnc again will remove tearing and other graphical bugs.

ASUS would be idiots if they didn't include that with monitors that are this expensive.
