BonSie got a reaction from matrix07012 in "Performance increase by up to 35% on AMD Radeon R9 390 series products in Doom™"
Dude FFS stop it, you are nitpicking every article in order to hate on AMD.
You are the primary reason I hardly am on this forum.
This update is not a general performance update but a bug fix for 390 series and also 290 series but nobody using them in benchmarks.
The other AMD cards perform as expected in OGL games.
Also this
Even when they fix their drivers you are still not happy.
GIVE IT A REST

BonSie got a reaction from Shahnewaz in Youtube to change Content ID system
That might still change or that scenario hasn't been reported on.
Change will only happen in a few months.

BonSie got a reaction from Big-G in Updated Ashes of Singularity Benchmark-AMD Clobbers Nvidia
Guru3d also did the test and they found something off with the FCAT analysis.
AKA V-Sync is forced on at the end of the pipeline, which might skewer the results depending on where the measure point is taken in-engine. It's a driver issue.

If the cross license agreement gets cancelled, doesn't Intel also lose the AMD64 license, also known as x64?

BonSie got a reaction from Dietrichw in nVidia's Tom Petersen raises a good point in AMD vs GameWorks issue
It also has HDAO, an AMD feature. So it's not a Gameworks title, if it was it would also be bundled with a GPU.

BonSie got a reaction from Akiosan in more 3xx series rebrand rumors - pulled from Catalyst driver
I have one more rumor, you now that age old rumor that the 290X is not fully unlocked due to it having 44CUs which is a really weird number.
390X might have the likely 48 CUs with 3072 cores.

BonSie got a reaction from Mister Snow in more 3xx series rebrand rumors - pulled from Catalyst driver
A chip design company had presentation once in which it showed the were designing a 350mm2 chip (Tonga) and a 550mm2, guess that's his size.

BonSie got a reaction from LAwLz in AMD says Nvidia’s GameWorks “completely sabotaged” Witcher 3 performance
You're wrong, maxwell has far better tessellation performance than GCN and is it's similar to kepler.
You would think that CDPR and Nvidia would be smart enough to balance performance and looks, that isn't the case.
So either CDPR or NVIDIA fucked up. I'm going pointy to NVIDIA otherwise the 700 series wouldn't run like shit.

BonSie got a reaction from SurvivorNVL in *OEM Rebrands* AMD reveals specs for 360, 370 and 380 cards
I really hope they are going to pull an 8000 series here, where all they cards where OEM cards, and that the new range will be the 400 series.
