MSI aren't the ones who took preorders. The retailers are. MSI canceling one product SKU and replacing it with another isn't strange either. It happens all the time. It's probably just that nobody has noticed it before because we usually don't have long waiting lists for PC components.  Nobody has said anything about retailers needing to cancel preorders. If retailers wanted, they could just transfer their waiting lists to the new product SKU, assuming similar pricing. If your retailer doesn't do that then it's not MSI's fault. I really doubt MSI are the ones bumping the price by your alleged 30%. Nobody has even mentioned the MSRP for the new cards. Maybe it will be the same?

asus shows the reg tuf with the more expensive 6x full arrays. and the OC tuf with the 6 reg caps. pretty sure they updated both pcbs to have all arrays in the spots. 

sounds like OP was scammed pretty hard , good luck getting your money back now. my bank wont go back past 6 months for claims , but your luck on that may vary. take them to small claims court and good luck. 

He ordered from the other side of the world so he's entirely at the mercy of their good will, suing internationally is basically impossible so he's got little leverage.
 
He needs to go with strong words, and if they continue throwing him around the only avenue left would be going full on with bad press. Maybe he could send a message to LMG explaining the situation since there was a recommendation from them. But it's been so ridiculously long that maybe LMG has been out of a relationship with them for many years as well, in which case it would be kind of moot too. That's stuff you get sorted within 6 months, not 6 years.

The heat generated depends on how much power the system uses. Component temps don't change that. 
If you want your room to be cooler, you need to better ventilate it.

One SSD fails and your data is gone. That's how RAID 0 works, there is no redundancy.

just phone the support and explain what happened. did that and they reactivated my windows for me no problem

sli is more for show then it is for practicality... SLI is useless in most games
