can any rtx graphics card be used in imac to play gamesin it with rtx on.

nope got to wait for fall refreshes that have macs with the new AMD gpus as they will have raytracing

Sadly, Nvidia discontinued support for Macs, they stopped releasing drivers. If you want to use a Mac and a Nvidia GPU, you must downgrade to 10.13 High Sierra, and I doubt that RTX cards will work.

well yes and no , yes if you use windows with bootcamp. no if you wish to use mac os.

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .
