Ssoele got a reaction from Tedster in Project DisplayGRID
And as said above, this setup is not for gaming, just purely productivity.

Ssoele got a reaction from Tedster in Project DisplayGRID
I won't, it would kill my warranty and I would lose my VESA mounting.

Ssoele got a reaction from legoset0 in Ubiquiti Unifi AC Wireless Enterprise Access Point
Wireless is not just for your internet. With good WIFI you have a much better in-home experience, with for example file sharing and streaming.

Ssoele got a reaction from NeatSquidYT in New member intro!
Welcome to the forums. To start off, read the CoC, it's quite interesting, especially section 4.2.

Ssoele reacted to AMICLG in How much data mining does Google services framework do?
Not that much, you should be more concerned about your mobile carrier.

Ssoele got a reaction from rhyseyness in Can i bend the pins on an included dvia to vga adapter?
Nope, those are the pins needed for the VGA signal. The D is DVI-D stands for digital, so you can't use an analog cable for that.

Ssoele got a reaction from JonnySel007 in Does SLI help in video editing & rendering?
Having 2 GPU's will help (for applications that support it), but not in SLI. Just use them as stand-alone GPUs.

Ssoele got a reaction from OriginalPromise in multiple problems with internet (windows 10)
Try to change back to 8.1. The technical preview is not meant to be used as a day-to-day OS yet and you will often encounter problems like this.

Ssoele got a reaction from dalekphalm in Intermittent connection issues between PC and router?
Why not just run a cable if it is only 18ft?
-
Ssoele got a reaction from k4kfh in Network layout showoff
Definitely not a bad setup. Main thing that would bother me is the slow connection and the modem/router combo, but if it works for you, then that's fine.

Ssoele reacted to Altecice in What is the difference between Hertz and FPS.
HZ is how many times your screen refreshes in a second.
FPS is how many frames per second your GPU can push out.
---
For perfectly smooth FPS you want to match your FPS up with the Maximum Hz rate of the monitor (60Hz is still the most common so 60FPS would look great) Anything over 60fps is just wasted as the screen cannot display them.
Anything under 60FPS and your screen will have to display the same frame twice (or more) times and thats when you will start to notice juddering or lagging.

Ssoele got a reaction from lachyman in LTT is dying off, since some of our favourite people have left.
Most of those "top posters" get their posts from useless replies that don't help anyone.
