Hi,

So i'm having some trouble installing windows 8.1 with a bootable USB drive on my new pc. I found an old windows vista cd and i got that working on it so I want to burn the windows 8.1 ISO on a dvd but i Don't know any software for that.

People still have Vista? woah.

Should work fine, you could put the iso on a USB drive too. That's how I got the Tech Preview on my Surface Pro 3.

EDIT: oops didn't read it right; thought you were putting it on a DVD. It should work fine, I personally formatted my USB to be read as a boot drive using Windows's built in disk drive manager and then drag-n-dropped the iso onto it.

I did it with the windows 7 usb/dvd tool and it worked. Burning went fast. Putting the drive in the pc I tried to format the drive but didn't let me. So I took the vista disc put it in formatted the drive and after that it worked.

Thanks for the help.
