Alienware Console Price

uhMayzedHD

It's funny that it doesn't even tell you what GPU that's inside it. Alienware is overpriced garbage that dell tries to project to noobs in the PC market.

Two gigabytes? Give me a goddamn model number.

Well it says GTX, so maybe GTX 750?

Why are you bothered about the value of a product that you clearly will never buy that others might buy and will enjoy?

It's not horrible if you want a mobile gaming experience and you don't know how/don't want to to build computers.

$550 for a i3 and a modified 860m is better than a 4790 and a 640 or 6300 and r7 250 (what prebuilts usually cost at this price point).

Probably an 840m or something along the lines of mobile. I bet the $900 version has a 750ti in it lol.

Dunno, I have a feeling that's a laptop-grade GPU.

The reason it is overpriced is because you con't build yourself something this small.

If someone is transitioning from a console peasant, they might want a PC the size of their console or smaller, and they might not want to build it themselves.

Not that bad if you think about marketing, their overlay, windows, the size of the thing, the controller. I think it's a good product, I'd love to have one so I could leave that in my hometown and my rig in college. The GPU is a custom 860M or a 750 Ti, however you wan't to look at it.

Oh yeah, the controller. Why is there a controller from a 7 9-year old console? Isn't XB1 controller PC-compatible?

Yea I agree, it's not too shabby once you take everything in to consideration. I personally wouldn't even come close to buying it though, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily a bad product.

afaik the GTX 860M is actually a bit better then a GTX 750 given enough cooling for GPU Boost, so this is even better then what I was expecting

I guess it's okay for a box of this size if the cooling is done properly.

Just to clear things up: this PC looks nice, I don't like all the smugness around Alienware brand, it's even worse than what's around Apple products.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

You could get a nice small pc that beats the Alienware for the amount of money it's required to purchase one. And there are tons of cases to choose from personally for small compact pc's i like cubes.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT
