Yeah this will go down in CES history. It's not his first time too, he once nuked an LG event by talking about his Samsung phone and then refusing an LG phone when the LG representative who was on stage offered him one.

You realize it was a technical hitch that caused Bay to freeze up, which ruined Samsung's presentation.

Man that was hard to watch. Bay was nervous as hell even before the teleprompter broke. You don't see him speaking in front of big crowds that often and never unscripted. Can't blame him for his mind just going blank and having a bit of freak out.

Damn man, If he freaks out about that, I wonder how he reacts to delays in his movies. What a bad producer. I can't believe anyone claped when he walked off stage.

Because that is totally the same thing. You do realize that public speaking isn't easy for everyone, right? He was nervous BEFORE the prompter broke. It's likely that Samsung didn't have any rehersals and he was expected to try to make it all feel natural as he reads the words for the first time. He's not a person you see speaking infront of large crowds very often. It's pretty clear that he suffers from some kind of anxiety issues when doing so. Put that on top of things going wrong and it is very easy for a person's mind to go completely blank. He didn't really "freak out". He mentioned the prompter being fucked and tried to stumble through the presentation a little longer before realizing he couldn't do it and walking off stage.

I can't blame him then, if I didn't knew nothing about the product I would be even worst on stage, "uh, look at this product it's so shiny and uh it does stuff because of reasons".

Not even necessarily that he didn't know anything about it. Maybe he did, but it was thrown out the window once he got  on stage and started speaking. I don't blame him for it, especially since he was clearly nervous as hell. You can rehearse and practice your lines all you want, but when you're in the heat of the moment, sometimes nothing comes out properly.
