yeah i find it retarded also no offence as being a streamer is actually really hard if you want to succeed, its not as easy as everyone thinks.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 @3.85Ghz, MotherBoard: Asus ROG Strix X370-F, RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB 3000Mhz

GPU: GALAX GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti EXOC White, Case: NZXT S340 Elite Matte White, Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, PSU: Corsair CX650M

Because they think its easy to do and easy money. They are in for a big suprise when they arent going to be successful as 99.6% of people on twitch and Youtube dont make it. They arent dedicated enough, make unique content, or just in general are watchable. You have to stream 10-15 hours A DAY, usually 5-7 days a week to even get somewhere, let alone get popular enough to make that time worth it. You will be working at least 50+ hours a week for free for the first 2 years at least

Get good at the games you want to stream first, then stream it. In general nobody wants to watch someone be bad at a game and not have a watchable personality.

Either way 2700x will last you longer then the 8600k could ever do. It will handle both fine

you have to be very very very very very very very lucky and put a lot of work into, do something unique that no one else does it if you want to be able to make enough money to live off it.

Personally streaming isn't that complicated for me. I don't think im going to become some multimillionaire streamer, i literally just want to do it cuz I play games all the time so I might as well try my chances to make something of it

yea, I think my best chance of becoming successful would be making entertaining content on youtube. Ill stream aswell but I'm nowhere near good enough to be successful as a streamer.

same thing. you have to be very lucky to make it on Youtube in any meaningful way especially give how saturated the "market" is. In fact i would say it's harder to be successful on youtube and it is to be a streamer

People usually say it but I doubt 75% of those people actually stream more then a week

Or it's "i'm going to be streaming" ie "i'm going to start streaming" and give up when they don't immediately have thousands of viewers like they thought would happen.

i've been talking to people non-stop since the pre-orders became available, basically it boils down to 3 choices.

Tight budget 2700x, use stock cooler, and if you stream at all, 2700x.

budget gaming only 9600k, max oc

no budget 9900k

for whatever reasons, AMD handles two high load tasks better than Intel.

So the 2700x it is.
