Yeah. Are we automatically entered into the contest? I couldn't tell (You "only" need 67 million points to be in the top 100...)

Nope. The 1080 is mainly for anyone in the top 100. The 1070s will be a random draw during the last week of Nov.

For the graphics cards that is a totally seprate thing being handled by the LMG staff if you read their post it lest you know how to enter that. For Official Folding Month 2018 If you read the OP it has a link to sign up for our event.

Wonder if that contest will consider the top 100 who are actually active. There's a lot of older accounts that don't seem to be folding

I see it now. I'm going to find out how many people I can get doing this (I know 3 with 1080 Tis that might), this will be an interesting graph. https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=223518

We are looking for reliable people to help with data entry(copy and pasting from one spreadsheet to another), it involves tedious work but someone has to do it. There's three of us atm but I feel we are going to need some more. You must be available 23:30GMT each day of November where possible. If you are interested please drop me a PM to let me know and I will get into contact to draft you if you are needed.

This is being issued JUST IN CASE it is needed, your services may not be require in the end but we would rather have volunteers at the ready in advance!

Thanks for your continued support,

Happy folding,

Ben.

F@H doesn't like RDP, so I opted to leave it out since it was the most inefficient anyway. I use RDP every day.

I mean I use RDP entirely outside of folding, but it causes a work unit to potentially be rejected if you RDP into an active folding rig.

I use the regular client for monitoring,.

I use the client to monitor folding activity too. I just walk down every now and then to make sure the temps are still good, and to make sure the cat doesn't decide to sit on it since it's a warm spot.

Out of curiosity, how exactly did this happen?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

The spreadsheet got shifted by one column, it made the chart go off total points rather than point gain.

I'm averaging anywhere from 2-2.1 million PPD at the moment. MSI 1080 Ti Gaming X was doing about 1.3 by itself, 1080 FE is doing the rest, so about 700-800k. I have thermal limit set to 79C though and it's sitting on it constantly, so I'm getting about 50MHz down clocks (1820ish down from 1860 stock boost). Think I'm gonna lower the AC a degree to see if I can get a couple more clocks out of it xD Hoping to also pick up a dank used PC tomorrow, so I'll throw that in and download the software and OC the piss out of it again. You should see my cooling set up rn... lol

Day 2 - Folding Month 2018

Well guys, the second day has passed and oh what a day it has been! The spreadsheet is broken currently and I am single-handedly doing a validation of all entries manually. That is points and work units, for over 220 participants, for 3 days worth of data. It is taking some time, but we will get there! so, DISCLAIMER: I am pretty sure there are some errors in this update, the sheer flood of new applicants overwhelmed the spreadsheet we are using and well it broke... just a little. Expect this problem to be resolved before next update!

The ranks you see here are overall. We have King Poet in first place with 9 million points, he's steaming ahead and leaving the entire competition in this dust, following on is Ben Quigley with 4.6 million points tailed closely by Porina, who has 4million. Dissitesuxba11s is up there too with 3.9 million knocking Gorgon down to 5th place with 3.7 million followed with a small gap by Palespartan at 3.3million.  Then TVwazhere and Cereal5 are fighting for 7th place, TV is holding on for the time being but with a difference of only 50k points it wouldn't take much to knock him down a peg. Another chase is on with Invaderzim pushing his way up the rankings gaining an impressive 6 places and putting himself in the top 10, he seems to be gunning for CagedAnimalz with only around 100k points separating the two.

Then below the top 10 we have D_Newb, MillerPanda, RAS_3885, Stijnman and RollonLower all with around 1.5 million points, the difference between 10th and 15th is only 100k so I'm expecting to see some serious shuffling here. James seems to have a comeback putting in a worthy performance and pushing himself right up to Powelljl giving a seperation of only 20k points.  Another skirmish has broken for 18th with  wONKEyeYEs only 20k points ahead of Blond. and for 20th we have Opencircuit74 right at the back of the top 20 with only 100k points to push into 19th. imreloadin is right being the top 20 pack with only a 30k points between him and 20th.

That covers the top 20 spots on todays results, the entire rank list can be seen below, by this point we can be pretty sure @King Poet is going to be close to impossible to knock of the number one spot, but, can @Ben Quigley hold onto second with @porina steaming towards him firing on all cylinders FPUs. will @Dissitesuxba11s managed to push up into the podium spots? How about @Gorgon, things are not looking great for him holding onto 5th with @palespartan pilling on the pressure! And then we have @James, giving us a somewhat better performance for today, pushing himself up into 17th. The question must be asked, has he drafting in something special from the office to help him in his fight? Only time will tell!

If your numbers seem off, or you cant find yourself on the list then please do get in contact with me and I will double check on your data, but once again please do remember I am aware there are issues with this update, please bare with us. The last folding event only had 10 participants. So to jump to 220 and climbing is a big adjustment. Also any members that havn't produced any points yet for the event are not included in the above table.

Please remember we have minimum participation requirements, these are 100k points, 15WUs, and 15 days of having activity over the course of the whole month.

Thanks for participating in the event!

Happy folding,

Ben.

Bumped clocks, both systems back online after the massive downtimes yesterday. Should be enough to get me in the top 10, but I might have to add an RX 580 to the mix.
