NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M performance

Without a doubt, GeForce GTX 880M will be a good performer. It managed to score 8230 points in 3Dmark 11 (Performance preset). This is around 12% better than GTX 780M, all that because it has higher clockrate. You can compare this score to others in my post about the GTX 780M.

3Dmark Fire Strike (5366 points)
3Dmark Cloud Gate (19250 points)
GeForce GTX 880M is expected to be released in February.

I think Nvidia need a lesson on Bus sizes and VRAM usage...

This is probably very fake anyway.

why would it have a 320 bit bus when 780 and titan both already have 384 bit busses? I doubt they'd step backwards 

 

 

 

@Op even if it could use all 8gb, it'd get 5 fps with that kind of load on that GPU lol

would be nice for 4k surround on a desktop but impossible to use on a laptop

The bus isnt big enough to being able to use that 8gb vram, it will only help in dick measuring contests.

Keep in mind people this is a MOBILE chip. They're designed a lot differently than their desktop counterparts.
