I will leave this topic open, since the gofundme has ended and there seems to be a reasonable discussion taking place, but do not take this as meaning that it was ok. Future topics asking people to donate money, even to a good cause, will be locked, redacted or removed without warning.

Please don't make topics like this in future

I can also speak from experience here. When doing tasks such as splitting images into frames (which I always export to my storage drives) i can definitely feel that delay for images to load

Well I did have to cancel the GoFundMe. And I myself don't have much cash. I think some people earlier were talking about ones they had lying around. @Crunchy Dragon what kind of SSD would you want?

Nothing smaller than a 250Gb honestly, as long as it's from a reputable brand(Samsung, Intel, Crucial) I'd be happy.
