If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

Does the channel feature children?
There was that thing not too long ago where there were a bunch of videos featuring children and paedophiles in the comments were basically treating it like pornhub. Youtube made some changes, including banning comments on videos featuring children. Large, mainstream channels were allowed to keep the comment section but only if they moderated it themselves.

The one I was watching wasn’t even a family vlog with children but rather I was watching a political commentary video. Who would’ve thought that pedophiles and incels also lurk in the comment section of political videos? 

 

But nonetheless I thing the community guidelines in YT comments is a way to deter trolls and hopes in building comments that are civil, but it’s a tall order to do despite Google’s machine learning implementations.
