I really don't get what's wrong with RGB in this case. I'm 99% sure you can control it with CUE and make it whatever color you want.

imo it looks cheap, especially the RGB around the I/O. i can know, because my InWin 301 also has LEDs around the I/O which kinda make it look bad.

Interestingly, the original Cosmos wasn't that expensive by current standards. According to Hexus, RRP was £120 at release. It was that cheap mostly thanks to the steel frame.
