It's up to you. By LTT staff do you mean forum staff or LMG employees? If it's the former feel free to add whoever you want, if it's the latter though I'd maybe suggest adding just the one.

I was referring to LMG employees. I definitely have overkill with James, Luke, Linus, and Colton, But maybe just James and yourself is the right call.

And its up!!!!!

Let me know if there is anything I missed or anything that needs to be added. Also since I really never use google docs if someone wants to help with the spreadsheet that would be awesome. I'm thinking something the same as last time with addition of forum name so that it is easier to keep track of who is who for those who have different names. Also if there is any other data you want to track over that period of time let me know and we can work on adding it.

Quick question my stats are showing up wrong on the actual site compared to what my program and logs say... Is this normal?

Quote

02:56:56:WU02:FS02:Final credit estimate, 51519.00 points
07:17:40:WU03:FS02:Final credit estimate, 77495.00 points
11:51:55:WU02:FS02:Final credit estimate, 88573.00 points
13:40:09:WU03:FS02:Final credit estimate, 42852.00 points
15:53:52:WU02:FS02:Final credit estimate, 42549.00 points

18:12:48:WU03:FS02:Final credit estimate, 41815.00 points (most recent within minutes of posting this)

Yet my stats only show 44,623 and 5 WU's... I actually did some folding 8 or so years ago with a bunch of friends (under a different name), so it has been a while :P

Yeah its pretty normal assuming that the only wrong stat is PPD. I still cant tell which one is more accurate but the program will fluctuate based on what it predicts you can accomplish over the next 24 hours and the site I think looks at your past 24 hours. I could be wrong but the two have never had the same reading for me.

Yea the prediction is a prediction(watching it go from 500k to 230k is entertaining), I find it weird I don't get full credit to what the log says (or at least close to it), because if it did I'd have something close to 330,000 points. Maybe it will update itself later, but I'll know more in about 2 hours when my 1070 finishes the next WU which has a base credit of 11015, so if my number goes to 60,517 I know I'm getting the base amount, which might mean the additional might get tacked on later as a bonus. If not I can figure out the numbers :)

Funny thing is you can't search for my name, it simply doesn't pull up maybe due to the - in it lol...

Oh I stopped CPU folding because it seems to hinder the score rating (but I'll test that out later, via time speculating)

Yeah and as your system completes more WUs the folding database will start to send it harder WUs because it will have a better idea of what hardware you have and how fast it can fold. CPU folding one of those things I usually don't do but when I do have it going I make sure that I have 1 full core (2 threads) disabled so that the CPU work doesn't throttle the connection for the GPU (convention says to have at least one thread free for each GPU in the system.)

Nvidia GPUs need one thread per GPU and one left over for windows, AMD GPUs seem to not have this requirement.

@Whiskers It would be really good to get a good showing from the mod team, Im sure you have your own area of the forum, maybe mention it there? If possible that is.

@palespartan Really hope we can break a billion points this November like we used to do consistently.

I have hope. It would be really cool to see an overtake that would take less time than a newborn to be able to legally drink.

I decided I would fight with the R7 again to try and get it folding since I did have it running for a while in another system but it keeps crashing. It seems like it is hitting road blocks and it is crashing after making two attempts to resume. Is there some way to increase the number of retry counts in the advanced control panel?

If its slot is failing increasing the number of tried will make no change, what clocks and temps you running it at and what is its exact model?

Stock clocks on the R7, and it never folds long enough for it to be a temp issue.

I had it running in a system by itself and it got to about 50% with an increased power limit before the whole system locked up (assuming it is from the garbage PSU).

I decided I would fight with the R7 again to try and get it folding since I did have it running for a while in another system but it keeps crashing. It seems like it is hitting road blocks and it is crashing after making two attempts to resume. Is there some way to increase the number of retry counts in the advanced control panel?

I think that the two attempts are all you get but when I was having a similar issue with my 970s it didn't matter how many attempts I threw at it it was always going to fail. Have you tried seeing if you could get the pro driver from amd (if they offer it for your card) I've heard that is a common solution for a lot of people running team red.

Intel Xeon 2620 with a 105 bclock

Asus P9X79 Deluxe BIOS 4801

32GB of Crucial Balistx LPX

GTX 960 4GB

GTX 750 2GB

R7-370 4GB

Seasonic X850

Assortment of hard drives and SSDs

Windows 10 Pro 1803 build 17134.286

With regards to the OS, I was trying to use the R7 earlier this year and was met with the same results. If you think it's necessary, I can list all of the drives in the system but would prefer not to. The GPUs are installed in that order and I could move them around but I would run into thermal issues for sure

I'll take a look if they even offer pro drivers for such a low end card.

The r7 will refuse to fold while it is in a shared system of Nvidia and AMD GPUs. I have only ever managed it once.

Damn...

I'll just set the R7 to do the work the 750 was meant to do and use the 750 for folding instead.

I'm fine with more complex units

I also bumped into a forum or Reddit post about the core/threads with Nvidia which is why I stopped CPU folding... I'm also running a much slower GT640 with GTA:O running in the background for the afterhours update :P

@Egg-Roll Also feel free to sign up for our folding month "competition"

Did that yesterday when I set up the program :P I missed out the last competition because I never knew this forum section existed and was never mentioned till it was over...

Have you looked for yourself on on here? https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=223518

Also have you put in your QRB password?

Just did, and found myself at rank 5,340 lol... I'm assuming that will jump up over time. (this computer is on 24/7 unless it crashes, also I don't seem to have to stop it to play games)

QRB Password? I'm assuming that is the Passkey on initial registration via email? If so then yes.

Also it seems to be tracking my base points as my points are at 60,517 now which is what I calculated them to be at based on the Base Credit. I'll keep a eye on it to see if anything changes (Excel spreadsheet time yay?)

Its possible you are just not returning the work Units quick enough. Also do you know how many you have returned, You need like 24hrs-48hrs of steady work to get the bonus points.
