It's funny because they'd probably get away with more if they just did marketing via social media and sending out review copies, and put all of the other money they spend on bullshit into actually developing the game.

They'd have a better product in the end, spend less money, and people would tolerate their bullshit more.

Edit: another point to add to this deadbrain statement, Look what happened when EA thought it was a good idea to put loot crates in the game. People bitched about it and they removed it "temporarily". Just shows that as long as people don't have a dead-brain mindset like you, we can fight and push the micro transaction BS away esp. in SP games.
