Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Is it really here? Ah fuck that then.

Oh so that would be ludicrous but not the mint colored sway bars? :P

Yeah you have to take motorcycle classes, and then take a written and driving test again. On top of the Class C license you already have.

Everything that is painted other than the calipers had rust on it. And there's nothing I hate more than rust. Other than maybe SJWs.

Lmao, well if it rusts you should paint it. 'Cause yeah rust prevention, and it looks good. Though I would probably just go with plain black.

Meh... I think I can get that done on Bliss easier than going to a local school..

I was tired of homework so I went for a drive with the top down since its 9:00 and it feels good outside (also to pick up my sister, she volunteers at a hospital)

my legs got absolutely destroyed by Mosquitos and now I'll be in itchy pain for the rest of the night. Joy.

So I put in some race pads, Raybesto ST43... Well... Tires are completely overwhelmed. I can make the tires squeal so easily, barely any pedal pressure... I love it!  It feels like the rotors are disintegrating when I'm braking though, haha

now I just really hope remounting the calipers solved by pad knockback issue. If that's solved, braking is on point. I guess I'll find out tomorrow at the track

Didn't know Raybestos had a line of good pads lol. Im used to their stuff being OE replacements, and often not very good OE replacements at that.

I went with the recommendation of a local Miata (and C7 Vette) owner with the same Wilwoods. He's been tracking for a few years now and has tried a bunch of different race pads, says he like they Raybesto ST line the best and they seam to be the most rotor friendly. They also don't squeal at slow speeds and low temps...

but yeah, they do seam to be the budget option at the auto store for oem replacement... They got race pads firgured out, haha... This is my first time using any Raybesto pad

I thought they meant "blow up" like a little "pop" and then it stops working, not blow up a freaking car! It's like having a tiny bomb in your pocket

honestly i am a bit skeptical, but knowing the note 7 can explode, it might be true. though i don't think it has the ability to catch things on fire, can it?

if you've seen the pictures of exploding note 7, you'll know it can do more than just pop.

Bought the phone after the recall when shouldn't have been able to.

Supposedly didnt know despite it being all over the news, radio and internet.

Car is parked as far from the house as possible facing the opposite way.

And who leaves a £750 phone charging, in a car, in the Florida heat unattended.

Plus on none of the other reports has peoples houses caught fire. It's too suspicious to be legit
