just got confirmed, center core ran out of fuel on touchdown and missed the target.

Elon confirmed the rocket didn't have enough fuel to land properly on the craft and slammed into the water at 300MP/H killing 2 engines on the rocket

not main fuel engine starting fuel.

This was test to see if Falcon Heavy was even capable of lifting off and landing. The payload didn't matter so why not Elon's Tesla Roadster on a mission to Mars.
