CES: Cooler Master MasterWatt V and Maker

New power supplies from Cooler Master. The MasterWatt V and MasterWatt Maker. MasterWatt V is available in 550w, 650w, and 750w. It's 80Plus Gold rated. with a maximum operating temperature of 50C, uses a single 135mm FDB fan, and comes with a 10 year warranty. MasterWatter Maker comes in at 1200w and 1500w, with a 80Plus Titanium rating. It uses a 3D printed circuit design, reducing the number of components inside the power supply, thus improving air flow. Both MasterWatt V and MasterWatt Maker features Master Connect v 2.0.

One of the biggest features on the new range of Maker units is the implementation and incorporation of Overlay.live. The app itself was founded by designed mainly by Isaïe Simonnet and Timothee Pineau, with a core design team consisting of Alex Frêne and Gergely Imreh. The design and purpose are to provide accurate statistics via a telemetric data system, not only for power users such as extreme overclockers, but those requiring advanced and real-time data dependant on their systems operation.

It has a 10 year warranty, the chances of the service being down before the warranty expires is very big.

The hell your talking about a few days ago. The last post in that thread is just a tpu link. And it don't matter, it's a new product, so it goes to Tech News. No one is going to look to tons of post just to find it.

Not a huge fan of the power button. I much prefer the toggle switch, there's something about it that just seems...absolute. Should be interesting to see pricing and how it performs though.

BTW there as no discussion, the AX1600i had got more attention. It was only you and STRMfrmXMN who reacted to that post.

Anyway CM does have it on their site. The current model comes with a 7th year warranty. This is a new one comes with a 10 year warranty. Maybe it's just me, but I always prefer high end psu with the C-19 plug.

Electrical button off switch? Damn, that looks sweet! Really a nice looking PSU. CM really got their act together. Wish they (and others) would make more nice looking SFX PSU's that aren't SFX-L sized. Right now only Corsair has a nice looking non SFX-L model on the market. Get on it CM!

I do not really understand what is meant by that? That isn't new I'm pretty sure since we've been calling PCBs PCBs for awhile?
