Female to female ethernet speeds

The wire i have from my router to my room isn't long enough for me to hide my ethernet switch... I wanted to know if i plug a Female To female ethernet adapter into the wire would i be losing any speed?

Other than potential losses to bandwidth because of distance increase, you shouldn't see any loss in speed.
