If you are planning to OC, only some of the B350 boards are good. Some of them could cause issues when oc'ing an r7.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Why would you recommend a 4-phase board to be used with an 8-core?

no the VRMs will overheat and throttle back the CPU

Which is why you shouldn't recommend the board you just recommended. I'm not sure if the VRMs are even clever enough to keep themselves from cooking themselves

Depends on budget, putting the Ryzen 7 on b350 is not the end of the world if you get a good board.

My brother has been using the ASUS PRIME x370-PRO and has nothing to complain about it, would recommend any day.

If you're going for 3.9-4ghz:

Crosshair Vi Hero/Extreme

X370-F Gaming

X370 Prime Pro

X370 Taichi

X370 Professional Gaming

X370 gaming 5

X370 K7

I think that's all of them I would consider acceptable. If you're not pushing that high though a few other boards may also be worth considering.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
