The school computers

Why do i always hear people say "we played games on the school computers"

And i never got how they got away with it

Because our school district fucking locks down the computers

They have blocked these features on the computers

Websites such as

The usual NSFW sites

Steam

Nvidia

Youtube

Ebay

Skype

Google hangouts

rockstar games

fucking VPN sites

But they dont block amazon?

They also block

Inspect element?

Clear browsing history

Changing the desktop background

and a whole bunch of other shit

And also when you log on to any PC in our school it says you could face criminal charges for mis-using there fuckin' pentium dell optiplex desktops

True story:

In my elementary skool i logged into my personal gmail account to access a illegally scanned in book that the school had put on google drive

And then they yell at me for "copywriting the book"

Another true story:

I made a shitty chat website on google sites

They yell at me for "putting students private info online"

What was your school like?

Am i the only one who has a school that does this?

Thats all i wanted to say :3

By bringing them in on a thumb drive..

Teachers tried to get smart with remote software to manually log us out if they saw us playing games but having a text document open solved that issue really quick, computer would try to log out, hang on that, and leave everything up.

They were really salty at my school about this.

My school system does this, but the website filter isn't that great, so as you click on a link (Provided by the assignment) for researching the Victorian Era, you get a message that says: "This site is blocked by your administrator. Reason: Social Media. I just don't understand it sometimes.

And you know what is completely f'ed up with the filter? On some students' accounts, the website was blocked, but on other students' accounts, they could access it just fine.

It doesn't help that not many of the students or teachers know that much about the computers, so if you can't fix your own problems, you're kinda screwed.

See with our iPad they put their own VPN on. With filters... So I do not even trust these devices on my internet. But we've had problems with kids getting into our servers and disrupting stuff. And we were also told specifically please do not hack the computers, we don't want to deal with that.

My school actually doesnt block all websites, some sites are blocked such as ebay and other websites such as facebook and all social media platforms. When it comes to our ICT policy at school, the school computers are half decent and can play relatively online games but they prevent any games being downloaded. At my previous school, the security system was strict, you actually had to put in your username and password to access the internet.

My school district is exactly like this. Very high security as everything with the keyword "Game" is blocked. I also can't even go on Craigslist, nor can I login to my Win 10 Xbox Account on my school laptop for playing very simple games from the windows store. I remember a couple years ago, kids would use VPNs to get past it, and that's no longer an option. I do see where they are going with this though. That want to make sure the schools budget/tax money is being used wisely.

I use VMWare and Wireshark at school...my classroom has most filters bypassed because I need to use Wireshark for assignments. Reddit, Steam, Youtube isn't blocked anyway, just play Garrys Mod when there's freetime.

My school's network has that and its very annoying. I used to leave my phone in my locker and connect it to my smart watch via my schools wifi. Now since they added the legal agreement, my watch won't connect to the school's wifi since it won't load that page.

I play solitaire from my flash drive. It's not blocked at secondary online, but I can admire and copy and paste thousands of pictures of strudels there.

Solitaire is my favorite game. VPNs are strictly not allowed, the first year they introduced the filter most school pages were blocked it was proper humor.

My school legal agreement page is so shitty because when you load it on mobile you can barely hit the "agree" button without it taking five years to load because of all the basic bitches overloading the 15 year old hardware with snapchat dog filters or some shit

Last year my school had no restrictions on wifi (we use our own laptops) but now the usual gaming sites are blocked. I figured out a workaround for discord tho lol. But yes vpns are blocked too. I just go on ltt.

I always worked for the school both unofficially, then officially when I was old enough.

Always had an admin login/filter exceptions.

We don't even have a legal agreement page, it's like force fed. And the school computer like got my wifi password without me putting it in which scares me. We go through about 1-2 routers a year from getting ddosd or other attacks.

Five letter name, subtract that from his IQ and you get 3. 666 divided by 3 is 222 which is exactly what you multiply 3 by to get his number of posts plus Quan.
