So Forza 7 got screwed up
Shadow of War got screwed up

And Battlefront got screwed up

 

Is this the worst quarter for games?

Nba 2k18 gkt screwed the most. Its literally pay to win, and not possible to win without paying

I’ll just speak with a wallet and not buy this game until it comes out in a GOTY Edition or something like that for $5 like what I did with Shadow of Mordor. At least I still have like other 10 games I haven’t played on my Steam account.

i really hope that the cracked version will have enough currency added in, sadly it uses denuvo.

its not the first time WB screws over the customers and it wont be the last.

i dont see what the big problem is. Patience and hard work is giving you the real ending. you are not being forced to pay money. like many things in life if you spend more money things can happen faster. is it bullshit that amazon prime offers 2 day shipping, when if you dont pay you have to wait 3-4 days instead of 2?

To be fair it will increase the ratio of piracy to purchase on this game but that shouldn't be much of a surprise if you fuck up a game like this people will modify it to not be such shit, look at denuvo games they drop in sales since no one wants a game with that crap on it so they get a version that the garbage is removed. (which takes only ~2 hours to remove now XD)

Purposely putting in a blatant grind mechanic for the sole purpose of selling microtransactions isn't the same as a game requiring effort to complete

They'll try but this is the same publisher that actually had to recall a fucking game because it was so shit so yeah, I don't mind if they try that they actually undermine the hard anti piracy arguments.

I got a very good deal on the pre-order (almost 50% off) and I really liked shadow of mordor so i went for it. I plan to ignore all microtrasnactions and honestly if the game's "true ending" is a grindfest I'll just youtube it.

Edit: Forgot to point out that I only pre-ordered because of the crazy deal I got, I am otherwise against pre-ordering video games.

I'll probably still get the game since I like management-type games. Still have to see how the orc army setup is done, but hopefully the various orc camps have different goals for their conquest. 

 

Hopefully, they also allow me to bring a graug to an orc encampment once more. #GoodTimes

Honestly the only issue I see here is this, You can play the game or you can cheat an pay to finish... :| 

If you pay to finish well that is your loss in both not playing something you paid for (well I guess you paying twice so why buy it to start?)  and cheating. 

 

Now if the thing is that you have to pay in game money to finish the game well that is stupid, the game should finish when you finish the story line, side quests are just that - side quests; optional in the grand scheme of things.

 

I am a (whatcha call those that finish the entire game?) so I have no issue grinding the game to accomplish this goal but if the in game is super expensive making you grind unnecessarily to finish the game that is epic stupidity.
