The Xbox One X's GPU is supposively on par with an R9 390 and the CPU is still bulldozer IIRC.

You might be able to run crysis, but only on low settings. 

Custom pinewood case, Corsair CX 600W, Rampage 3 Extreme, i7 980x (@4.2ghz) with ML240 Cooler,  MSI GTX 970, 24gb DDR3, 240gb OCZ Tr150 SSD + 2Tb Seagate Baracuda. 

 

Advocate for used/older hardware. Also one of the resident petrol heads.

I think I can run crysis on the highest + in a magical way run it for you at the same time.

No, the CPU is Jaguar. That was AMD's low-end/low-power CPU architecture back when Piledriver (Bulldozer 2.0) was still their high-end CPU architecture.

Console sales aren't where the profit margin is, it's the games.

Spec wise you crush the xbox.. 

 

Game wise it def needs a tip of that hat, for something so pathetically spec'd it delivers really good graphics and frames. Yes Yes calm down PCMR the pc will always be better but for the price difference I'll give the xbox its due respect for what it can do for the price of it.

Imagine running games off of a central server/computer. Basically steam link but on a much bigger scale.

Taking a $200-300 haircut for selling something isn't a good strategy, if it were the PS3 wouldn't have been seen as a failure given its volume of sales when it was all said and done, breaking even or a small lose due to handling costs is one thing but a 40% loss for sale is out of the question
