Some of their cards are sold as Palit, not sure which of the two actually makes them.

MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB GDDR5 Twin Frozer VI 768 CUDA Core Graphics Card

ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition

If they both cost the same/within $10, get the MSI as it is a much better cooled card.

Oh I have no idea about South Africa's market for GPUs, but PNY usually has cards for good pricing on these markets given how they don't invest as much on marketing while they still offer good quality, if you ever so happen to go by a PNY branded card it is a good consider too but I think this got a bit off topic...

Personally speaking I'd go Zotac over MSi on your case especially if Zotac's pricing is better, but if MSi is cheaper just get it... we're talking about 1050ti's any ways.

Indeed.  I remember when PNY was more popular than EVGA in the 2000s.  Market share is indeed their biggest separator.

I would say MSI on the higher end models.  At around the mid range (1050 ti or lower) it doesn't really matter what you get.  But MSI is generally better.

I notice that MSI are cheaper and even even has a mobile app for controlling the GPU while gaming where Zotac might have better cooling heatsinks in

On the 1050ti cooling design matters very little, being such a low tdp card.  I would get the MSI one if it's cheaper.

The two cards you put the MSI is better by FAR.

honestly they are all great i just pick one that has a design that goes with the build. mainboards though i dont like asus for their bios and software but graphicscards are software wise all the same pretty much soo just go with what suits your need design wise ohh and of course check reviews first for who has better coolers and who has worse
