Why would you buy an A10? Is it to have the system running until you can get the 650 or 660?

yup, and even suggest me a card around $170 - $200

Good job for a first build! How do you like the case? Does it have good airflow? I thought about getting for a friend as Christmas present.

not going to lie, but that's a messy build.... i mean that RAM isn't even seated properly ( the latch is still loose) This could cause BSOD or hangs/freezes

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

Can you run a 7790 in crossfire with an A10, if so get that, if not get a 270X, 7870 or stick with the current cards.

Why would you buy a single RAM stick?

It's all he needed and adds room for upgrade later. Yes the chances of getting a bad mixed kit are around 60/40 with single stick purchasing but i doubt someone told him, and ram isn't a bottleneck even with just 4gs so it's not an issue.

You should check ebay, amazon, tiger, new egg in case you spot a 760 or even a 7970 in $230. but if its this your final desicion the 660 is better tho.

Also related to your Build and since is your first try to ignore the people that doesn't know how hard is to buy all the components by yourself  or even to get the cash from your parents  just keep going. btw that lighting is nice keep it simple!
