*HELP* Received recruitment letter from the NSA

polak

This is fake. Why would they just select you? And for what position?

Im pretty sure they do tons of screening before they select people...

No clue, but when i applied for college i released my resume that included my entire Computer science knowledge, and i allowed them to make my information public in order for other opportunity programs to select me.

Highly doubt the NSA would pick a random 18 year old out of nowhere. Besides, even I can fake a letter from my Prime Minister.

Idk, call bullshit or not, but i have a serious issue and im looking at a forum for advice. My parents are immigrants don't even know what the NSA is...

Likely fake.

Someone can just write a different address, that is simple and no brainer.

I guess you can ask the police what this is.They should be able to help you.

With the information given out, you won't get much advice. No one has a clue to what the letter says. Is there a contact number? Instructions on how to reply?

With the information I have, I can only assume it is fake.

They have an email address, and an address to reply to. They want my resume, and exactly what do i know with Linux

Isn't this kind of how Snowden got employed?

Hard to believe they would make the same mistake twice. If its true though, then they really did make a mistake, because the first thing you did was broadcast it all over the internet.

Meanwhile some neighbour kids are having a laugh. You would need some kind of skill to be "selected" - either an asshole (sorry NSA i dont wanna live in States, but PM me if youre interested in other jobs). I assume youre from orginally from Poland and maybe (if they are really the NSA) want hooks on Polish people over there in US.

Just tell them you use Linux so you are less likely to get viruses when you view your porn.

Yesterday after i came back from my job at an ice rink in Brooklyn i checked my mailbox. Got a letter, and it was indeed a letter from the NSA.... They wan't me to work there, BUT WHY ME?!?!?! And the letter doesn't even say if i can opt out or not, which i wan't to. Keep in mind im 18 and a freshman in college, wtf do i do. I'm under an circumstances WILL NOT post the letter on here or anywhere in the internet because who knows, they'll make me disappear and send me to Cuba. You will just have to take my word for it, anything helps. I am open to anything, even if it means shooting myself in the foot.

Dude, it's not the fucking draft, you dont have to do anything.

AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Sue them because they want you to become a traitor to your country.

And I am not saying this as a joke.

they want you to put that linux backdoor they were talking a while ago...

as for the problem itself, i mean if they want to force you to get in, it should say it on the mail isn't?

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

Not sure if you are joking or not, anyway, it is not a big deal, find their phone number from the internet and call them and see what they want, you might not have to quit school or anything (I have no clue honestly), if they hire you, you will get high level of training, not bad at all and you get to serve your country .....and learn some tricks B)
