Lost all data

I have turned my computer on today and found all my photos and everything on my harddrive has deleted itself the harddrive still works

If you know the folder name or its size you might be able to use tools like recuva or the one you go open. However your second screenshot looks like you are trying to access a shortcut instead of an actual directory. Which if that was your photos, then I’m afraid you never even had pictures on your computer.

did you actually have files stored on the drive or were they stored elsewhere with only the shortcuts on the drive?

no i am trying disk drill and I will see if that recovers it
